Endangered Species” Anyone can Help”

Endangered species, as we all know is a problem growing every day, but it is also a problem that could be decreasing everyday if everyone would do something about it. There are probably the same number of solutions than same number of problems, sadly almost nobody cares about the situation that we live in so the odds are in favor of the disaster.

On the last blog I discussed the endangered species living closely to our community. Today´s topic will be how we might assist to stop this problem. There is a close relationship between both topics, if everyone begins helping stop this madness by starting around his or her environment, that sooner or later there will make the difference.
Cerro de la Silla
One of the main problems in Monterrey is the term of “conserving habitats”, because obviously we may notice how habitats are being destroyed, and the lack of importance shown especially in the Cerro de la Silla. It must be prohibited to build houses on the mountain. As the years pass, the houses get higher in the mountain. I wouldn’t be surprised that in a couple years the houses will reach half of the mountains height. We must take into account that our city is known well for the Cerro de la Silla, let’s try to conserve our natural habitats.
Other methods that we might do in our home of course would be recycling, and especially avoid throwing trash in natural habitats, anything worse than not recycling would be doing that. Another method would be to plant trees. From every tree that is cut we must plant at least two. Today there are machines that cut the trees in a matter of seconds, and unfortunately it takes years for trees to grow.
With everyone´s help we will make this world a better place, but without everyone’s interest the world we know today and the species that surround us would come to an end. Not tomorrow, let’s start today!

Endanger Species “Closer than we think”
Sometimes we may think that endangered species could only be found in other far away countries. There may be endangered pandas on Asia, the white rhinoceros on Africa, koalas in New Zealand, and maybe come even closer like the giant anteater in South America. But the true and chilling reality is that there are endangered animals in Mexico, our own country.

The endangered Scarlet Macaw
On the last blog I discussed the causes of endangered species and some of the factors which that contributed, on today’s blog I will be discussing endangered species in Mexico. One of the endangered species is the Scarlet Macaw. It’s a beautiful bird with bright red with blue and yellow wings, blue and red tail. The reason of this bird being endangered is frustrating yet sad. It is endangered because of the demand for its bright and colorful feathers which has been a fashion for many years. Another case is the Mexican Prairie Dog, its number has been declining a lot recently these years, and the causes are that most are poisoned because they are considered agricultural pests, which is kind of cruel because these animals are just trying to survive and they are killed for that.
These were only two cases of the 45 species found in the endangered and critically endangered categories of Mexico. We must act fast, or the worst will be presented in a couple of years, where our children will not live to see some of the 45 brilliant species of Mexico.

Endangered Species "The sad reality"

It is a misfortune to realize that our grandchildren or maybe even our children will not be able to see some of amazing animals because they will be gone thanks to mankind.  Endangered species, mostly caused by the ignorance and lack of care in people today, sadly will finish causing the disappearance of a great variety of species.
Endangered polor bear
On today’s blog I´ll be discussing the main causes of endangered species. The overpopulation of humans, which cause expansion of cities, is causing the destruction of animal habitats. Another reason is the illegal hunting of endangered species, although the law prohibits the hunting of certain animals, there are people who are selfish because they do it for their own convenience, for example selling the horns of a deer, or getting the expensive meat of certain animal.  The last problem that will be discussed and probably the most devastating is global warming, global warming causes the increase of forest fires destroying habitats, the death of animals because of the pollution on air or water contaminated and the poles of the earth are starting to melt which we can observe in the picture a polar bear which will likely die because its habitad will be destroyed. These are some of the few problems we are facing, but the reality is that there are a lot more of them.
As we can observe there may be hundred of things that are causing this problem, but we must realize that the biggest problem, and probably the one that causes all the problems would be us. Humans could be reckless when it comes to saving the planet. The only solution is if everyone could give a little effort to change things, it would probably be enough to save this planet from loosing part of their species.
