The Giant panda has been one of the most loved creatures of the world and it’s also considered a powerful symbol of the world (http://wwf.panda.org). Sadly it has been endangered for the past years. It would be catastrophic to lose this magnificent creature, especially of the Chinese people, since it is where the Giant Panda originates, and I can only imagine what a huge hit it will be for them.
One of the main causes of the endangerment of the Giant panda are bamboo harvesting of the bamboos, and as we all now, the bamboos are the panda´s main source of food. Another factor, of course as always, would be the destruction of natural habitats, because of road construction, mining, hydropower plants, etc.Because of China's dense and growing human population, many panda populations are isolated in narrow belts of bamboo no more than 1.2km wide — and panda habitat is continuing to disappear as settlers push higher up the mountain slopes (http://wwf.panda.org).
There isn’t much we can do here in México to stop this, except maybe we can donate to some organizations that help the Giant Panda. Like mentioned on past blogs, about our own endangered species here in Mexico, Chinese people need to find immediate solutions for the Panda or there will be even more serious problems which will be not reversible. Like I have said before, it is better to start acting now, especially when we are talking about a very important creature specially for the Chinese people known as the Giant Panda.

I like your post, this topic is very important the endangered giant pandas because first we see this animal on tv or in movies and we think that they are love creatures of the world and they considered a powerful symbol in the world . But many people dont see that this type of pandas is in dangered and in countrys like china or japan they kill this animals and they eat them so this is not correct if this animals are endangered because we need that this pandas have a reproduction so we can have more animals and this pandas dont be in endangered species. In china they have a huge problem with endangered species and one of this animals is the panda because of the growing human population the habitat of the panda is disappearing and bamboos they are no more because of the growing population. And what you said that we cannot help the endangered pandas is true but we can help organizations that help pandas or we can make organizations and send people to start helping this pandas so they can reproduce more faster and we can finish with this problem because if they dont do nothing this problem every second is going to increase and increase.
